Memory cards came out to use in early 90’s. It was the first commercial memory card storage device. The memory card that came in the beginning was bigger in size. Then arose the demand for smaller size cards which left the bigger size cards to lose its market. The computers of nowadays have in built storage device slots. There are many digital gadgets that support more than one memory card for better compatibility. There are video game console had been using proprietary solid state memory cards for storing the required data. The memory card market is in a boost in the present time.
